I/ This means no flaming droplets or flaming material, which fall from the test mattress during the fire test, shall continue flaming after reaching the test platform or floor.

3.5.3 End item off-gas acceptance. In addition to the requirements of Table III, one finished mattress shall he submitted to NASA on e one-time basis only for Navy off-gas testing

in accordance with Table Ella. Upon acceptance, any subsequent changes to the mattress or its components shall require Navy evaluation and approval, which may be contingent upon

additional component and end item testing in accordance with the 5.3.1 and Table Ilia. respectively.
