I am active duty military, with a lot of time in service, and I can tell you this is an awesome deal. I needed a cot for camping, loved the sturdiness of the issue ones that we all spend many months at a time sleeping on. I searched all over and only came across old worn out surplus cots or "military style" cots. This is it- brand new in the box. Note that this is the newer nylon material version and not canvas, as the title says. I think the title just says that because it's the wording from the original NSN.
