ECWCS Gen 3 Level V Trousers, "New OCP," USGI/RFI Issue. 

Designed to go over other levels of the ECWCS layering system, the Level 5 Soft-Shell Trousers are able to withstand moderate cold weather conditions, being the least bulky of the layers as the lightweight pants with extreme comfort.

They can also be worn alone in warm weather.

  • OCP pattern (which replaced MultiCam in the 2015 timeframe)

OCP has 15 NSNs (all of which fall under LIN T05060).  MultiCam (the older pattern) has a similar number of NSNs under LIN LIN E43549.
