The OE-303/GRC Antenna, which was designed for the U.S. Army, is a directional half rhombic antenna. It consists of the AB-1244/GRC mast and the AS-3490/GRC Antenna. Fully erected it stands about 30 ft. This antenna group is supplied in two canvas packs designed to stow and transport the antenna's components. It is designed to be quickly erected and quickly lowered. This antenna was designed to extend the range of the radio set beyond that available from low elevation whip antennas of mast-mounted omni-directional antennas. This antenna was designed to meet the requirements of Military Specification CR-CE-0012-001.
